Overview

SmoothWall Feed Bins
Meridian’s SmoothWall Feed Bins are designed with feed quality and management in mind.  Smooth cone and side-wall surfaces, without bolts or ribs, a bottom cone of 55 or 60 degrees, and our exclusive high slip factor powder coating, ensure feed discharge without hang ups and entrapments thus reducing bridging and spoilage.  Complete with sidewall and roof ladder, and a minimum 30” discharge clearance, the Meridian SmoothWall Feed Bin is your best choice for all types of feed and premix.

For commodities requiring a steep cone and more capacity than a feed bin, the solution is the Meridian Steep Cone series.  These bins are built with the same standards as the fertilizer series, but feature a 55-degree bottom cone in capacities up to 150 MT.

Why Is Proper Grain Storage Essential?

Without an adequate storage solution, grain can easily be lost due to exposure to moisture, birds, insects, rodents, and even bacteria. To improve the shelf life of grain, it is important to look for grain storage solutions that are air-tight and prevent moisture from getting in. Having the right storage solution for your grain, you can ensure that your goods make their way to market without disruption or excessive loss. Though knowing which storage solution is right for you can sometimes feel like a challenge, the experts at Avonlea are always here to help.

Why Do I Need Dedicated Fertilizer Storage?

Storing your fertilizer responsibly is important to ensure that its quality is maintained over time. More importantly, though, it also doubles as protecting soil and water sources from being accidentally contaminated with fertilizer. To ensure money spent on fertilizer doesn’t go to waste and to protect soil from excess fertilizer contamination, be sure to source an adequate fertilizer storage solution.
