Foliar feeding brings plant nutrition to a new level of efficiency and cost effectiveness. Nitrogen is up to 14 times more efficient than soil applied nitrogen. Soil types more prone to nitrogen leaching are at the greatest risk. Foliar Phospate is 20 times more efficient than soil applied and Potash is 6 times more efficient than soil applied nutrients. Apply by ground, air, or pivot. Alone or with other products!
SRN (Slow Release Nitrogen) is the future of plant nutrition. 70% of the nutrient in SRN-P-K is absorbed immediately, to stimulate chlorophyl production and increase BRIX (plant sugar) numbers. 30% of nutrient "sticks" to the leaves until UV light from sunshine gradually breaks the sticking agent down. This occurs over a 21-28 day period, maintaining chlorophyl production and plant vigor. Ideal for use with crops that require large amounts of phosphate during flower/seed set. An ideal choice for Soybeans and Pulse crops.
Herbicides tank mixed are slow released along with the SRN-P-K. The result is superior weed control.
Fungicides tank mixed are slow released into the crop along with the SRN-P-K. Fungicides can be applied earlier and will protect the crop for up to 28 days after application. The result is less disease pressure and better plant health.
NANO refers to the small molecule size of this product, which allows direct leaf absorption. The nutrient value of the foliar absorbed nitrogen is a minimum of 4 times greater than soil applied nitrogen in heavy clay soils. In sandy soils the nutrient value can be up to 12 times greater. Foliar Phospate is 20 times more efficient than soil applied and Potash is 6 times more efficient than soil applied nutrients.
Other urea products like 28-0-0 and UAN have too large of a molecule to be leaf absorbed and have to wash down into the root zone for absorption. There is no benefit from the increased nutrient value associated with foliar absorption. The high salt content of these products makes leaf burn and crop set back a real possibility.
There are 0.29 lbs per litre (1.08 lbs/USG) of nitrogen, 0.57 lbs per litre (2.16 lbs/USG) of Phosphate, and 0.17 lbs per litre (0.65 lbs/USG) of Potash in SYNERGY SRN-P-K. One litre foliar applied is equivalent to between 1.2 & 3.5 lbs of soil applied nitrogen (4.5-17.2lbs/USG), 11.4 lbs of soil applied Phosphate (43.2 lbs/USG) , and 1.02 lbs of soil applied Potash (3.9 lbs/USG).
Up to 20% of soil applied nutrients can be replaced by foliar feeding. This reduces the amount of soluble salt being added to the soil profile as well as making your farm compliant to upcoming fertilizer reduction targets.
Reduction of soil applied nutrients also mitigates input cost risk. If mother nature does not cooperate, only 80% of your nutrient investment is present. As the season progresses, additional nutrient decisions can be made based on crop quality. Tissue testing can also provide insight into which foliar applied nutrients will maximize yields.
Many customers reduce their herbicide rates and still see superior weed control.
Add 3-7 litres/acre (depending how much nutrient your crop requires) of SYNERGY SRN-P-K to your herbicide program. Often herbicides "burn off" weed foliage without killing the plant. SRN slow releases the herbicide to improve chemical performance. DO NOT USE SURFACTANTS with this tank mix.
Tank mix with fungicides:
Fungicides can be applied sooner and protect longer with SRN-P-K. The fungicide releases to the plant over time rather than all at once.
